Support STEM Education at Southwest

Southwest Ultraviolet collects a small participation fee, but the great majority of the team’s financial support comes from local companies and individuals who support STEM education in Minneapolis. When you sponsor our team, you are helping to create the next generation of engineers and “to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.” Learn more about the impact of FIRST.

Sponsor our team, or donate any amount, and foster the next generation of engineers. With your help,  we can accomplish FIRST’s goal: “to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders.”

Help us reach our $18,000 goal for 2017-18

We are looking for sponsors like you to help cover competition fees, tools, building materials, and team supplies. This year, in addition to building our team robot, we will be working on outreach and planning to expand our team, doubling in size. This will help us  expand our reach, engage more students, build  leadership, and plan for the future so our team can inspire an interest in STEM at Southwest  for years to come.

Please download our sponsorship package [PDF] to learn more and help us reach our goals!
